Guildenstern: Our names shouted in a certain dawn...a message...a summons...There must have been a moment where we could have said no. But somehow we missed it. Rosen-? Guil-? Well, we'll know better next time. Now you see me, now you- -Tom Stoppard, R&G Are Dead

I Hear You Knocking Down My Door...

    I Think I'm Cured...

Why don't you take a good look at yourself and describe what you see :: Thursday, August 05, 2004 ::

And baby, baby, baby do you like it?

Sorry, Led Zeppelin makes me want to sing along sometimes.

I'm burnt. And I never get sunburnt. And to top it off, it doesn't hurt. Seriously. It's just my shoulders, which is nice, but it seriously doesn't hurt. It's just pink. Undeniably pink. But it doesn't hurt, and that's all that matters, otherwise, I would be in pain right now...um...well...duh.

Okay, so, the island that Donna's beach house is located on has Bingo night at their clubhouse every wednesday night during the summer. It's a kid oriented game, so we all went there last night. Okay, the big prize of the evening was eighty dollars. So my brother and I, of course, knowing how fate worked, deduced that the youngest person in the room would undoubtedly win. We were very close. Not only did one of the youngest people win, SHANNON won. Yes. Just to rub salt on the wound a little more. But it was fun. I was going to give my card to Tori if I won so she could get something as, well, I'm almost eighteen and she's five. I think the prize is going to mean just a tad bit more to her than me.

OH! I SAW AN OLYMPICS COMMERCIAL! You have no idea how addicted I get to the Olympics, winter or summer, when they start. If ANY event is on TV when I sit down to watch it, I will watch it until a gold medal has been won. And then I'll watch the next event. No other TV show matters (Except Six Feet Under, but what else do I watch besides that anyways?) but the Olympics. Oh! I'm so excited. Wait...Liz, is the LOTR viewing party on friday? Because, if so, that's the Opening Ceremony, and I have to see the opening ceremonies. So...um, I may go to another TV in the house during that time.

I've also gotten some work done on the Wise Blood MWDS. I figured it'd be best to start off with the book I understood the most so I can get the most work done.

I got to watch Dancing At The Blue Iguana and Elizabeth again! I had forgotten how awesome those two movies were. And I'm sorry, but Gwenyth Paltrow over Cate Blanchett? No. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

There's a screened in porch right outside my room where I've been reading Underworld. It has a hammock and a beautiful view of the ocean. Very peaceful. Very serene. Very nice.

I notice I update this thing a lot more when stuff HAPPENS.

    Quotes

Shannon: Sam, you can push me in the pool, but don't push my sister in!
    Tori: Yeah, I'm too cute!

Sam: She'll know the answer when he tells her the answer

And I have forgotten to post the many, MANY quotes I wrote down from the P2P trip, but there is one I MUST share with you. It makes sense, vaguely, but...judge for yourself:

Tyler: Between that and the something better, you'd take the something better

Yes, she said that, word for word. I'll post the other brilliant quote of the trip from Eric some other day when I have more time.

    Current Mood: Awesome and burnt
Current Music: POSTAL SERVICE, POSTAL SERVICE, POSTAL SERVICE!
