Guildenstern: Our names shouted in a certain dawn...a message...a summons...There must have been a moment where we could have said no. But somehow we missed it. Rosen-? Guil-? Well, we'll know better next time. Now you see me, now you- -Tom Stoppard, R&G Are Dead

I Hear You Knocking Down My Door...

    I Think I'm Cured...

And it seems so very simple that I don't think I can tell you :: Thursday, June 10, 2004 ::

So...it's all officially over. I am officially a senior. Wow.

So, after watching Gosford Park and Kill Bill yesterday (I turned the surround sound on and blasted the Crazy 88 battle...it was like heaven) and my mom's disasterous attempt at my hair (It ended up looking like a giant poofball) I then went to graduation.

Considering I didn't really do much but patrol the auditorium for thirty minutes and then walk a few seniors to their seats, it was actually a lot of fun. Rebecca was there, and I wasn't expecting that. AND MR. SYKES? Why the fuck was Mr. Sykes there? And it was fun to see the random other people who were arriving, like one of my mom's friends showed up with her son in tow who annoys the the crap out of me (He is the poster boy for Only Child Syndrome)...but she's really nice, so I talked to her for a few minutes. And Miskolitz! He was nice, too. He talked with me for about five minutes.

But, anyways, afterwards, Allison's mom dragged Heidi and I into about five minutes worth of picture taking which was ugh, but, that's what my mom will probably do to me next year so now I have preperation. Then I hugged Jennifer about five times just because...well...she's Jennifer, and she deserved them. I'm just glad I didn't cry all over her because I came close. I'm going to miss her more than any other senior out there. Then I talked with Mr. Mitchell, Mary Kate, Page and Cameron for a few minutes about...stuff. Like Jesse's personal project and...other stuff. Poor Mary Kate. She was looking for Mike and couldn't find him and Mr. Mitchell made some joke about her rubbing her breasts and sighing while calling Mike's name. OH! And then I asked Mitchell about directing something next year and he said he really wanted to see that happen and to come talk to him at the start of next year! I'm really excited about that. That would be...if I could direct a show and actually have it go up, that would be fantastic.

Then it was off to Dorothy's party with Darcey, Heidi, Simon, Liz and Abby where my eyes proceeded to rot of my skull due to the massive amounts of cigarette smoke getting in them. Hay fever...a joyous thing. But Heidi, Simon and I mostly stayed outside with Sonny and Sean Walder and talked to them, so it didn't get too bad, but before, when I was trapped in that garage, it was awful. Then Simon forced me to take him to Karl's party. It was...they were watching Adult Swim on Cartoon Network and some show I've never seen before so I essentially had to wait for Simon to say "Take me home!" But I left after the show because Simon's parents called to take him home so I didn't have to, so...I got home and collapsed into my bed.

A nice close to the school year, I'd say.
