Guildenstern: Our names shouted in a certain dawn...a message...a summons...There must have been a moment where we could have said no. But somehow we missed it. Rosen-? Guil-? Well, we'll know better next time. Now you see me, now you- -Tom Stoppard, R&G Are Dead

I Hear You Knocking Down My Door...

    I Think I'm Cured...

I can see the love and the hate in your eyes :: Monday, March 01, 2004 ::

I really should be MWDSing away right now...but, I figure, today I'll finish all of the written work, and tomorrow I'll search Absalom for quotes. Can't be that hard. Thank GOD I finished the US History book report yesterday so I can concentrate fully on the MWDS.

The Oscars were boring and horribly predictable. I was ecstatic to see ROTK take home every single freaking award it was nominated for (Specifically Best Picture...about time a fantasy won) and, really, the only reason to stay up that late was for Jack Black and Will Ferrell, whose song Jesse, Liz and I reinacted at lunch today.

"Get off the stage...you're boring. There's Catherine Zeta-Jones...she's snoring."

Speaking of snoring, it was so funny to see all those close ups of actors and actresses and in the background see people sleeping. It was a really boring ceremony except for the A Mighty Wind performance (Which converted me. Like last year, for Best Song, before the performances I would have voted for the U2 song, but the performance of Burn It Blue swung me. I would have voted for Into The West, but the "A Kiss At The End Of The Rainbow" performance swung me.) the Owen Wilson/Ben Stiller thing, and Jack Black and Will Ferrell. Billy Crystal's cameos in the nominated movies was hilarious, as usual. Wish I had taped it.

Anyways...today was...it was...nonimportant? Besides the fact I am completely, 100% finished with any yearbook assignment I have. Finis. And I made deadline, FOR ONCE. The really odd thing about that is that for this deadline, I had four pages to do while still covering Dance Ensemble and I did all four pages by MYSELF. Stupid person who was supposed to be HELPING ME.

    Ugh.

I want a nap. One MWDS is the equivalent of running the marathon.

    Teacher Quote Of The Day

You can definitely do a queer reading of [Absalom, Absalom!]. It can definitely be read with a queer eye. Heh, Queer Eye for the Southern Novel
