Guildenstern: Our names shouted in a certain dawn...a message...a summons...There must have been a moment where we could have said no. But somehow we missed it. Rosen-? Guil-? Well, we'll know better next time. Now you see me, now you- -Tom Stoppard, R&G Are Dead

I Hear You Knocking Down My Door...

    I Think I'm Cured...

    :: Sunday, December 21, 2003 ::

You know...it felt really good to get all of that out. I mean...I read that and then I had this weight on my shoulders and then I responded and...I feel kinda good now.

Guess I'll be a conformist and take this survey (I really should be working on the shitload of English AP work I have this break)-

    First name - Nicholas
    Middle - Craig
    Last- McIntyre
    Gender - Male
    Age - 17
    Birthday - October 3rd
    Sign - Libra
    Do you drive? - Yes

    Family:
    Mom’s name - Bonnie
    Dad’s name - Rick
Sibling(s) (if any) name - Sam
Pets? - Ashley (Dog), Corey and Jenny (Cats)

What city/state/country do you live in? - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
What school do you go to? - Northwest School of the Arts
What is your course of study? - What? My major is theatre...but what if I didn't go to an arts school? As far as what really fascinates me, history (Of any kind) and literature

Political position - I guess liberatarian...thought I'm not entirely convinced.
Do you think George Bush is a numbnut? - Yes

Do you like to read? - Please. Of course I do
Favorite Books - The Westing Game, Things Fall Apart, Dracula, Microserfs, A Confederacy of Dunces, The View From Saturday, The Inferno, Wicked, The Return of the King, The Picture of Dorian Gray, In The Bedroom, Interpreter of Maladies and everything by Douglas Coupland (Except Miss Wyoming)...and it's really more of a short story, but The Pit and The Pendulum...that one was intense, especially when the pendulum started swinging.
Favorite Authors - Douglas Coupland, hands down. Other authors I like...um...Chinua Achebe, Aldous Huxley (Oh, I finished Island in DC...I really need to return that book to the library), Gregory Maguire...and those are about the only authors who motivate me enough to read more of their books...wait, Jhumpa Lahiri. I really want her new novel...that's one thing I know all these gift cards I'm about to receive for Christmas will be purchasing....and Edgar Allan Poe.
Favorite Bands/Singers - Radiohead, Coldplay, Fiona Apple, REM, The Stone Roses, Belle and Sebastian, Led Zeppelin, Alanis Morisette, Rufus Wainwright (I really need to get his new CD at some point), The Smiths, Sigur Ros
Favorite Songs - Another long list...I really need to either delete this from my sidebar or update it: How To Disappear Completely, Let Down, Lucky, Idioteque, Paranoid Android (Radiohead), Thank You, Hand In My Pocket (Alanis Morisette), Pale September (Fiona Apple), Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad? (Moby), This Is The One, She Bangs The Drums (The Stone Roses), The State I Am In, Sleep The Clock Around (Belle and Sebastian), Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin), Crash Into Me (Dave Matthews Band), Nights In White Satin (The Moody Blues) Trouble, Clocks, Amsterdam (Coldplay), Losing My Religion, Laughing, Drive (REM), With Or Without You (U2), Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd), Hallelujiah (Rufus Wainwright), Asleep (The Smiths), Vioar Vel Tl Loftrasa (Sigur Ros)

    Boxers or briefs? Boxers

What song are you listening to RIGHT NOW? - Full Fathom Five - The Stone Roses
What are you wearing right now? (in detail) - Clothes. A green shirt, some khaki pants and my watch.
What was the last thing you ate? - A cheeseburger
Are you excited about anything right now? - Depends

If you could go on a date with any literary character, who would it be? - Karla from Microserfs
If your life was a book, who would write it? - Douglas Coupland, definitely
If your life was a movie, who would write the soundtrack/what artists would be on it? - As far as who would score it, Thomas Newman. He does odd sounding scores, but they have far more dynamics to them than the typical orchestral score. Listen to the American Beauty and Finding Nemo soundtracks, if you don't believe me. They are beauty all on their own.
What actor/actress would play you? - Uh...I guess...there isn't anyone who would play me! Maybe...I don't know. The guy who plays Merry in LOTR seems to have enough sarcasm and intelligence rolled into one
Who would play your leading man/woman? - I don't know...actually, I do...but to answer this would give away too much
Who would play the obligatory insane best friend? - No clue...wait...they may not be my best friend, but Glenn Close. A younger Glenn Close, obviously, but Glenn Close, nevertheless

Speaking of friends, are you popular? - I suppose
    Do you have a boyfriend? - I don't have a girlfriend.

Does anyone else like you that you don’t like back? Probably.
Who's your best friend? - People
Funniest - Hmm...many. Diana, Brittany, Andrew, Anna
Most sarcastic - Have I not been sarcastic around you Andrew? Because this answer is me
    Quietest - Me
    Nicest - Jesse
Most annoying - It depends on if I spend a prolonged amount of time with them...no, Jana, not you
Total opposite of you - Diana
Most honest - Heidi...I guess...I mean, she doesn't seem like she ever has any secrets
    Sex symbol - Brittany
    Best hair - Brittany
    Most impatient - Hmm...
    Worst temper - Liz
    Tallest - Me
    Cutest - *Snort*
Klutziest - Andrew...I really should write down everything he's run into so you can understand just how big of a klutz he is, but that would be too much (He he he...)
    Gayest - Landon
    Most unpredictable - Jesse....Jesse. Just...Jesse.
Hardest to figure out - Depends. Do you mean somebody who you know has secrets but can't quite figure them out? Or do you mean somebody who puts up this facade of somebody they aren't?
