Guildenstern: Our names shouted in a certain dawn...a message...a summons...There must have been a moment where we could have said no. But somehow we missed it. Rosen-? Guil-? Well, we'll know better next time. Now you see me, now you- -Tom Stoppard, R&G Are Dead

I Hear You Knocking Down My Door...

    I Think I'm Cured...

I'd like to leave the country for a month of Sundays :: Tuesday, December 16, 2003 ::

The new Nike commercials are shit...but...that slogan.

    Just Do It.

Just think about it. What that slogan entails. To just do something without thinking of the consequences or repurcussions...or anything. To just out of the blue do it. You can dwell on the fact of whatever you happen to be feeling at that time and keep it inside...or you can just do it and let it out. I'm not one to say I can fully support the slogan...although I think I did implement it when I...did something. I just did it. And it worked. And now I'm happy. Now I feel...blessed, perhaps.

    Just Do It.

I could sit here and analyze this all night (Frankly, I kind of want to as my MWDS is only two sections away from being complete...and two nights before it's due! What a fantastic thing!) but I think the slogan speaks for itself.

    Just. Do. It.

If it gets desparate enough, I guess the slogan could be changed to Just Fucking Do It.

    Just Do It.

Hmm...I like that. I know that I tend to weigh the pros and cons of any action I ever do way too much...what would it be like if I just did it? Just for once isntead of thinking "Well, if I do stop writing my MWDS now, I may not have a lot of time tomorrow. One the other hand, if I finish it now, I can do the Review System without the burden of the MWDS." So what if I just stopped? What if I just did it?

A crap example, I know...but...I'm just really fascinated by how much power and reaction can be applied to three simple words of just, do and it.

    So...

    Just Do It.

My advice for the day. Maybe I'll start taking it as well.
