Guildenstern: Our names shouted in a certain dawn...a message...a summons...There must have been a moment where we could have said no. But somehow we missed it. Rosen-? Guil-? Well, we'll know better next time. Now you see me, now you- -Tom Stoppard, R&G Are Dead

    I Hear You Knocking Down My Door...

    I Think I'm Cured...

    :: Saturday, November 01, 2003 ::

    If I had titles for my entries, which I'm glad I don't, this would be called Day At The Renaissance Festival because...if I need to explain, you are an idiot, so, since I don't feel like typing Renaissance more than I really need to, I shall continue.

    In any case, my brother went to a friends neighborhood last night so he could trick-or-treat on Halloween and then spent the night. So, then, my mom was going to take them to the Renaissance Festival...and let them go off by themselves. But she can't go alone, noooo. I have to be with her so she won't be alone. We ended up wondering around. I like the festival, but the past three years it's always been my brother and one of his friends go and I walk around with my mom. Donna and my two surrogate sisters were supposed to come down, but had to cancel, and that would have been fun, so I was looking foward to it...but then they canceled.

    So...I've been in the sun al day and my eyes are in a permanent squint. Worse yet, my brother goes into some machismo state when a friend is around and feels the need to show that he is superior to me. So I've just started insulting him as much as possible when he's with a friend. And his friend as well, since he has the same complex.

    There was something else...Oh! Shoobie is coming down from Connecticut for Christmas! I'm so happy! She left a message on our answering machine last night telling us she'd be down and would to see us then. So...something to look foward to. December will be great. I've got that NYLC conference in Washington, DC (Which I found out Simon is attending sometime in the coming month), then Return of the King and...SHOOBIE!

    Current Mood: Too...much...sun
    Current Music: U2 - Desire
