:: Thursday, September 11, 2003 :: So it's 9/11...you know, I understand that this is a tragic event in our nation history, but had those planes flown into...oh, I don't know, the Sears Tower or the Space Needle...pretty much anywhere but New York City, would we have as much memorial as this? Do we have a memorial for the Oklahoma City Bombing, which, in my opinion, is a little more disturbing as that was mainly children who died in that bombing. No. So, in my humble opinion, and something tells me I'm alone in this opinion, but had those planes not flown into the Twin Towers or anywhere in New York, we would not still have the memorials we have today.
