Guildenstern: Our names shouted in a certain dawn...a message...a summons...There must have been a moment where we could have said no. But somehow we missed it. Rosen-? Guil-? Well, we'll know better next time. Now you see me, now you- -Tom Stoppard, R&G Are Dead

    I Hear You Knocking Down My Door...

    I Think I'm Cured...

    :: Saturday, September 27, 2003 ::

    Hello from Greensboro. Not that there is really any difference, but I'm in Greensboro.

    Rehearsal yesterday was interesting. Just about everybody was a zombie (Myself included) and people just had this really drugged look on their face half of the time. We ran the show twice...it's really starting to come together. Instead of just a run thru, it truly feels like it could be a final rehearsal. Of course, as an arts school, we can't really have a typical high school play. It has to be on a professional level. Still can't get "O, by whom" to sound right. That was Shakespeare's worst line ever written.

    Today was Tori's party. I met Richard Jr., the last of the Mann Children I haven't met. Joel and his girlfriend showed up about an hour after the party started. Tori was so cute opening her presents. She's five, so she has an excuse. She would take the card off the package and just hand it to somebody and start ripping into the paper. Another funny part was the pinata Donna bought. When they opened it (After the kids tried, but obviously couldn't break it) the candy all falls out and they just kind of walk over to it. Lizzy was the only one to actually try to grab as much as possible. Tori hrabbed a pack of Nerds and was done. So myself and Donna's two sisters (Who are twins) helped her rake in the rest of the candy. I was the designated video recorder...so I got some great shots of everybody. Had fun. A celebratory mood kills the current problems surrounding this family right now.

    Jenny and Damon were not invited, and didn't show up. However, Jenny was given a paper to sign that stated to get Mary Rose and Lizzy back, she and Damon had to take random drug tests, let a social worker come about every other week or the kids go into foster care. She didn't sign it at first, but yesterday, signed it. So Lizzy and Mary Rose are going home soon...to a one bedroom apartment. If the social worker does their job, Lizzy and Mary Rose will not be allowed to live there. Furthermore, if Jenny truly wanted Lizzy and Mary Rose back, she would have done whatever the social worker and attorneys told her to do. She would have stayed in drug rehab, she would have cleaned up her act, she would havr signed that damn paper as soon as it was set in front of her. So...yeah...my two cents.

    I helped assemble a Barbie Magic Castle Tori got for her birthday. It was so embaressing, but I had to be polite.

    My birthday is next friday. It's less than a week. That shocks me.

    Current Mood: Exhausted
    Current Music: Radiohead - Lucky
