Guildenstern: Our names shouted in a certain dawn...a message...a summons...There must have been a moment where we could have said no. But somehow we missed it. Rosen-? Guil-? Well, we'll know better next time. Now you see me, now you- -Tom Stoppard, R&G Are Dead

    I Hear You Knocking Down My Door...

    I Think I'm Cured...

    :: Friday, August 01, 2003 ::

    Good hair news...well...perhaps you need to understand why.

    My grandfather (Mother's side) went bald at twenty three. And he had thick hair. Maybe thicker than mine, I don't know, but my hair is pretty thick. So, in any case, his oldest son also went bald at thirty. And guess which side of the family I get most of my traits from? That's right, my mother's side. My brother gets most of his traits from my fathers side, so he doesn't have to worry about going bald. So, I've been fretting over going bald...but...GOOD HAIR NEWS!!!

    When my dad's hair gets long enough, it starts to curl ever so slightly...well, so does mine!!! YES! I just noticed this today after I took a shower. I feel good.

    Went to Books-A-Million on monday to try to help my brother find his books for his summer reading project (I'm finally getting to the papers) and saw that they had a table of Summer Reading Books. One for High School, one for Middle School. And lo and behold, what book should I find on the table for high School? The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. I wanted to go complain to the manager that no high schooler should be subjected to such idiocy. I hated Catcher in the Rye, but at least there is a point to high schoolers reading it. At least there are alterior motives. Wallflower is just...blech.

    Going to Barnes and Noble to get something for Elizabeth. Her birthday is tomorrow. Then I'm going to see Seabiscuit with my mom. My brother does a dead on impression of that one scene where Tobey Maguire screams "I can't see out there!" It's hysterical.

    Finally got my The Ocean Blue CD's

    Current Mood: Okay
    Current Music: The Ocean Blue - Frigid Winter Days
