    New Line is releasing the Extended Editions of both LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring and LOTR: The Two Towers on THE BIG FUCKING SCREEN a couple of weeks before The Return of the King opens.

    Another chance to see these two movies in a movie theatre is absolute heaven...especially the Special Editions (Though I will miss the Tig commentary). Only catch is that it's only in 50 cities, but as Charlotte is now the 21st largest city in the US (I assume it's population), I'm betting will get it.

    As a money maker for New Line, excellent desicion. Brilliance. Better than George Lucas's desicion to release the three new Star Wars films on DVD all at the same time...which was stupid just because it was. And the new ones aren't any where near as good as the old ones.

    As a reminder to the voters come award season how truly magnificent and beautiful this series of films is, equally brilliant. Return of the King better take home Best Picture. It better!

    And The Two Towers is next tuesday! A Return of the King preview is on the DVD!!!
