Guildenstern: Our names shouted in a certain dawn...a message...a summons...There must have been a moment where we could have said no. But somehow we missed it. Rosen-? Guil-? Well, we'll know better next time. Now you see me, now you- -Tom Stoppard, R&G Are Dead

    I Hear You Knocking Down My Door...

    I Think I'm Cured...

    :: Tuesday, July 15, 2003 ::

    Watched High Fidelity on Comedy Central last night. Not bad. Some pretty funny moments, but the amazing thing is that it's largely carried by John Cusack. Everybody else has about ten lines (With the exception of his girlfriend, Laura) but Cusack can still carry the movie all by himself. This is why Castaway was amazing.

    Um, I had a dream last night that Robert Duvall was Saddam Hussein (But he looked like Strom Thurmond) and he and his three accomplices got these saws and went after these people in a department store, which my dad and I were in.

    Kind of macabre, but now worry. Just a dream. Thurmond is dead, Saddam....probably will be dead.

    Anything else? Oh, yeah: Somebody from NWSA reccomended me to this agency that does commercials/catalogs/runway. Now, I assume it's my theatre teacher. In any case, I'm fine with commercials, I'm not particulary excited about catalogs (But hey, I get paid money to have my picture taken. Not a bad trade), but they will have to drag me down a runway. I would not be caught dead on a runway, I'm sorry. I'm not a Look!At!Me! type person. I want all eyes to avert from me in any situation. "But Nick!" you say, "You've done plays!" Yes, but at least in plays I'll have blocking or lines that I have to concentrate on so I can kind of forget the audience is there. Walking down a runway? All I'm doing is walking. I'm supposed to go meet with this agent guy on saturday.

    So...that's about it.
